How would you describe what inspires you to do what you do?
I'm inspired to compose and perform music because I Love to see people smile, dance, and connect to great melodies and rhythms. Music connects everyone!!
Who would you say has been the single biggest influence in your life in getting you to where you are now in your career?
My elementary school Music Teacher Mr. Baggot was a great influence on me musically. He exposed me to great music and nurtured my passion for music, thank you Mr.Baggot!
What would you define as the most life‐changing event so far in your musical career?
I would have to say that my new album “Smile for Me” has been a game changer for me and my career. I've traveled and toured with many different artist but being an artist myself is the best!
How would you finish this sentence? I don't like to go a day without?
Definitely listening great music of any genre!
At what point in your life did you make the decision to become a professional musician and actually record your own albums?
I've always wanted to be a professional musician since the age of 9, I decided that I wanted to record my own albums in 2009.
What would be the most important piece of advice you'd impart to a young musician just starting out in the jazz/smooth jazz arena?
My advice is to be a student of jazz/smooth jazz by staying true to stay focussed, passionate, and creative.
