Esteemed Smooth Jazz guitarist Marc Antoine has created a truly fresh collection of signature performances with MY CLASSICAL WAY. His inspiration for this project revolves around the timeless greats. Works from the likes of Bizet, Paganini, Debussy, Mozart, and Bach are given passionate, beautiful, contemporary interpretations, largely utilizing Brazilian and Latin rhythms, by one of today’s most adored musicians, with help from his long-time friend and collaborator Philippe Saisse. The results… simply incredible! From his classical studies in Paris as a teenager to his undeniable success in jazz and pop to revisiting his roots in a whole new way, Marc states that “MY CLASSICAL WAY brings me full circle and it’s wonderful to finally share this part of my musical heart and upbringing with everyone.” From a listener’s perspective, I feel honored to be able to enjoy the rich relationship between the old masters and a truly inspired current master! ~SCOTT O'BRIEN
