The "apple doesn't fall far from the tree". Well in the case of sensational Jazz singer and songwriter Brettina, that rings true. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Brettina grew up in a show business family; her uncles are Theo and Kirk Coakley of the funk, disco, and R&B band T-Connection. She was destined for a show business career.
Brettina’s strong Bahamian roots and love of her island-nation homeland inspire many of her songs. She released her first CD, entitled Brettina, in 2010, with production by Tracy Carter and additional production by Laval Belle. More information can be found at www.brettina.com.
