The piano virtuoso has worked with Kirk Whalum, Marcus Miller and Steven Hurd as well as spending time honing his abundant studio skills. Singer, songwriter, composer, musician, Mr. Marcus Young has created one of the most joyful and creative new releases we’ve heard all year with mostly self-written pieces and all self-produced to the highest standards. Stylistically it floats from groove to fusion, Latin to funk and it’s all held together by his brilliant piano playing. Currently residing in Fort Washington MD, Mr. Young, is presently serving as Director of the Youth Choir at Mt. Ennon Baptist Church in Clinton.
