SJ.COM:
The format is over a dozen years old... Is "Smooth Jazz" still doing it
for you after all these years? Are you still feeling the passion for the
music?
RR:
I have been doing this format for over 10 years and I still love the music,
the people in the business and the Smooth Jazz listener as much as when
I started.
SJ.COM:
What are you doing in your market that you feel is unique to the format?
RR:
We probably play more new age than any other market. When I say new age,
I am referring to artists such as Yanni, Suzzane Cianni, David Lanz, Hilary
Stagg, Jim Brickman, etc. It does very well in SLC.
SJ.COM:
What CD is in your player (car or home)?
RR:
The latest Fourplay.
SJ.COM:
What was the last live show you caught?
RR:
I was able to attend the second weekend of the Catalina Jazz Festival.
SJ.COM:
Outside of radio, are you an enthusiast for anything else (wine, golf,
movies, etc.)?
RR:
Love the outdoors, Fishing, Golf and of course great wine.
