53rd annual Monterey Jazz Festival presented by Verizon

Come hungry to the Monterey Jazz Festival because this is one of the reasons to attend… they’re not playing around here. Enjoy serious cuisine from New Orleans as well as some of the best grills in the world Qing beef, chicken, fish, sausage and veggies, plus International selections from India, Thailand, Jamaica and the best of fest is the sweet potato pie!

After the Jazz, head over to the Monterey Hyatt for the Jazz Jam… this year many of the festival performers sat in with our incredible local jazz musicians for an intimate opportunity to experience music in a very relaxed, comfortable setting!

TRAVEL TIP : The Festival doesn’t allow for outside adult beverages… we saw many a pricey bottle of something smooth to drink left outside of the fairgrounds… so when you go to stash your Basil Hayden, remember this!
