After an early career performing at classic NYC venues (Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Apollo), working with the likes of Cissy and Whitney Houston and touring with everyone from Gerald Alston to Bo Diddley, NY/NJ based keyboardist/composer Mike Di Lorenzo is quickly closing in on 20 years as an acclaimed instrumental artist. He drops an inspiring and exciting first single from his upcoming full-length, follow-up to his 2023 album PLAY IT COOL with his latest single “Don’t Let Go.” It’s a hip, edgy symphonic jazz romp blending his melodic and improvisational piano magic with soaring synth textures, the punchy emotional soloing of saxophonist Frank Elmo and subtle vocal embellishments by Sonna Rele, who will be prominently featured on the album!
