A rock, pop and blues veteran turned Smooth Jazz recording artist, Chicago sax man and keyboardist, D.S. Wilson has the distinction of being a finalist in the talent competition aboard the 2022 Dave Koz Cruise – and later having his music played on Koz’s weekly SiriusXM radio show! Since releasing his Adam Hawley produced 2023 album SKYLINE, Wilson has been laying the foundation for his upcoming star-studded 2025 release METAMORPHOSIS (helmed by Jeff Carruthers and Steve Oliver) with a series of four lead singles including the bright, lighthearted, thematically optimistic “It’s Looking Up.” This track is slinky jazz and soul personified, with Wilson’s hip, swaying sax melody hopping above tight grooves on its way to a sunny horn-drenched hook that should give everyone a bit of hope to start the new year.
