Who would you say has been the single biggest influence in your life in getting you to where you are now in your career? I would say family is the biggest key to getting me where I am now. My Mother in particular has always been the guiding force in my life. At what point in your life did you make the decision to become a professional musician and actually record your own albums? I would say at around the age of 17. I had always visualized myself either performing or creating my own music. What are you most proud of at this point in your life and career? There are many things I’m thankful for. Whether it be getting Billboard charted at a young age or teaching music as well as creating it and having people enjoy what I do is most rewarding. How would you finish this sentence? “I don’t like to go a day without_________? I don’t like to go a day without prayer. If you were to choose to learn a new instrument that you’ve never played before, what instrument might that be? That would definitely be the sax. What’s your favorite non-music activity? I love to play cards. Spades is my game. I learned it at an early age and have been playing it ever since. |
