How did this new album and overall concept for it come about, and what are your ultimate goals with it?

The "Love In Motion" Album has been in the making for the past 7 years... the ultimate goal is to dislodge Justin Bieber.. Lol

What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of recording a new album?

Deciding where to record and the overall budget to produce a high quality recording and finally choosing the right musicians to bring the composition and music to life.

What artists do you feel akin to or in the same tribe with?

I personally feel akin to several different Artists (Saxophonists) in fact "Love In Motion" is very much a tribute Album.

i.e.. Corazon (The Heart) is a tribute to Gato Barbieri , Blues For Brecker a tribute to the late great Michael Brecker

Fun In The Sun the calypso tribute to Sonny Rollins and finally The Promise a tribute to David Sanborn great ballad exponent..

What are you most proud of at this point in your life and career?

I am proud of all the musicians and the recording staff that were part of this album who worked together as a team to make the recording experience of "Love In Motion" a total blast.

How would you finish this sentence? “I don’t like to go a day without_________?

Playing Music.

If you were magically allowed to spend an hour with whomever you chose in history… alive or dead… and really be able to get inside their head, who would that be?

The great Alto Sax player Fausto Papetti (1923 – 1999) as far as I am concerned he was a pioneer of Smooth Jazz before there was Smooth Jazz .
